Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the horror and martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action films and has a fascination with the morbid. After gaining some fame on the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to review in late 2009. She continued to be a part of the site up until January 2015 after which Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
